Who is Jesus Christ? Let's find out!

Watch this overview video!

First, let's look at the PROBLEM...

God created the world.

In just 6 days, God created the world and everything in it...including man. The first man was named Adam. God also gave Adam a woman to help him, her name was Eve. They were tempted by the same enemy that tempts us today, and unfortunately, they sinned and disobeyed God.

What happened when they sinned?

Until this point, Adam and Eve lived in a perfect world. No hate, no crimes, no poverty. But sin changed everything, and once it was released into the world, the only resolution was for God himself to intervene and pay the price of this sin.

How did God intervene?

God is totally perfect, which means He can't even come IN CONTACT with anything impure. He is part of the Trinity, which is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In order to save humanity, He had to send his perfect Son to earth and pay the price for sin. If He didn't do this, everyone would be destined to Hell for eternity.

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God

Jesus is who paid the price for our sin. He sacrificed Himself and died on a cross so that we could have eternal spiritual life with God.

Jesus is ALIVE

Yes, Jesus died on a cross, but He also rose from His grave 3 days later! God is eternal, all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere. He controls time, wind, waves, and even the stars.

Jesus is LOVE

Jesus loves you. He came into the world to save the world. He didn't require the world get "cleaned up" first, but rather He was the one who cleaned it up. And He is the one who will clean you up.

Jesus performed many miracles.

Throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible), Jesus performed many miracles to show that He truly was, in fact, God. He healed diseases and even raised people back to life!

What does Jesus want from me?

A relationship...

Following Jesus is not a "religion," but rather it's a "relationship."

How do I have a relationship with Jesus?

How do you have a relationship with a friend? It's not that different. It takes communication and time. Communication is what we call Prayer. It's simply talking to God and telling Him what's on your mind and asking Him what's on His. Spending time with Him would be taking moments throughout the day and being quiet, listening for him to speak to you. Also, spending time in the Bible (which is the Word of God) helps you understand more about God and His true nature.

It's time to decide...

Following Jesus requires you to be ALL IN. Meaning, you cannot follow Jesus AND Islam or Buddha. If you follow Jesus, it's ONLY Jesus.

TODAY, I CHOOSE TO FOLLOW JESUS!

Pray the following:

Jesus, thank you for saving my life. Today, I am putting my trust in You. I believe You are the living Son of God. Please forgive my sins and show me how to follow you.
